    A good well made unit

    This is an excellent product if installed with care. It needs a good amount of space to allow for rotatation of the cylinder, and draining off. Worth measuring nine times and cutting once! (when retrofitting to an existing CH system). In particular one needs enough room for a pan to collect the residual water when servicing. It is also very easy to cross-thread the removable magnet container with the body of the unit, which would be disastrous in an installation if it then leaked after the threads were damaged. Again care and patience to ensure that the there is no cross-threading is needed when reassembling. Otherwise the unit is robust and the large isloation handles mean that it is easy to isolate in an installed system. However, care is also required here as it is easy to not ...

    Good boiler filter, easy to fit & works well

    Sturdily made, heavy brass body, pot seals well (twin O ring seal). Good solid shut-off valves. Disappointing that the particulate filter is plastic, not stainless steel as described, but it seems to work well; trapping bits and magnetite even after a thorough system clean and flush. Useful drain; has a hose attachment as well as a drain spigot. Air bleed to empty pot before opening is a help.

    Easy to fit Central Heating Filter.

    Good price for this easy to fit filter. Good solid fittings with large valve taps for easy use and isolation. Quickly strips down for sludge/magnetite removal. Very happy with purchase.

    Low cost easy fit no leak problems how well it works don't know we only fit to new systems with inhibitor so not necessarily needed anyway
