All adjustments are only by hand, meaning that there are no wheels to turn to adjust heights or depths on this. The rear fence doesn't slide too smoothly and be prepared to have to make a few trial runs to determine how best you want it set up for your required piece. Having said all that, I think that this is quite good for its price, and a lot depends on what you want out of it. If you want assisted precision then expect to pay a lot more for an alternative.
