The most important thing for me was about having a high temperature item (comparable to a hot coal bbq). It did reach an high heat but wasn’t great at maintaining this temperature for very long. Overall would recommend but would advise twiddling with the knobs a bit (no euphemism intended) to maintain a high temperature.
