I needed about 5 but just bought one to begin with to see how strong it was and whether it was suitable. It’s semi transparent and very lightweight but it’s okay. The packaging it comes in and says that it’s heavy duty but it isn’t and can be torn with a little effort just with your fingers. But it’s inexpensive and should do the job ok.

It’s much thinner than expected. I ordered white and it’s so thin the grain of the wood table is clearly visible through it. I had been expecting a thicker, more PVC fabric. I think it would protect a table from food spillage, but I’m dubious as to whether it could be used repeatedly without tearing. If (like me) you want something heavy duty, this isn’t for you.
