Arrived within 2 days, packaging was burst but all fittings were in box, yet to use but so far after assembly and securing to the ground it seems a solid enough bit of kit. Pitty it was not better suited for alloy wheels and will no doubt cause damage to the alloys during use, duck head mod kits are available i believe so promising. Definitely a worthy piece of equiptment to own and will save alot of money in long run, paying for itself eventually. Would definitly recomend.

Arrived on day specified, box a bit battered but then it's steel tyre changer so no worries there. All parts correct and easy to assemble. Tyre changer used to break the bead and replace the TPMS sensors on my family's 3 vehicles. It does exactly what it's supposed to and with little effort. Extremely happy, has saved me a fortune on costs. Thank you.

    Needs instructions!

This is a sturdy bit of kit that I bought for repairing punctures on my sub compact tractor. The assembly instructions are adequate but there are NO instructions on how to use it to remove and replace tyres and tubes from and to rims. OK with a little experimenting you can work it out, having said that I was trying to remove and replace 8inch tyres. Removal was easy but I found it impossible to replace the tyre without resorting to using a tyre lever ( not supplied ). A little extra effort here would be welcome.

    Almost suitable

It did the trick, but only because it gave me more leverage. Assembly is easy enough but on the first use, inserting the pry bar into the sleeve for leverage, the metal became misshapen and deformed. The spoon shape does not conform with the shape of the wheel rim but did work. When the spoon met the tyre, the throw was already half way through its travel so the pry bar was nearly at the wheel and didn't leave much room to compress further. I bought this tool to work on my motorcycle tyres as it was advertised but apart from breaking the bead, I was not able to mount the wheel to further remove the tyre. The centre shaft would be a good size for car wheels but even with the bearings removed, it was too large to mount my wheels. Bottom line, I got what I paid for and since it won't be used ...

  • Great....but!

Makes changing tyres easy ( that's what it's supposed to!) however the tyre bar will damage alloys hence the 4 stars. However I bought a piece of 4 mm PTFE cut it to shape and screwed it onto the flat end (with small 3mm counter sunk machine screws) and this has resolved the problem £3 for the PTFE. I don't think it will last for hundreds of tyre removals but it's just for my motorbike and the occasional car tyre. So very good and I would recommend this machine.

  • Tidy concept but basically an expensive way to ruin good wheels and tyres.

This “machine” is akin to taking a sledgehammer to a bar of toffee to get some bite size pieces. The concept is good but one has to exert so much force and use so much raw, brute strength to break the bead and then force the tyre of the rim, that it just ruins tyres and wheels. There is no way that a “gentle” approach can be used with this equipment. It is simply a very expensive way of putting to death your wheels and tyres! If you really want to smash your way through your wheels then I suggest buying a good weighty sledgehammer and then you can have your fun for about a third of the cost. And it’ll be safer too. NOT RECOMMENDED WHATSOEVER!

  • Robust Tyre and Bead Tool

The tool is a bit rough and ready , but with subtle enhancements (I put some vinyl flooring on the pedestal and made up a cushion for the rim) this enabled me to break the beads on four 13" alloy wide rims which had been laying around for ages . I then cleaned the rim edges by mounting onto the pedestal and using wire brush and emery , and then remounted the tyres using bead seal paste. All four are airtight. The tool shows no real signs of wear from use. The bead breaker blade could be better contoured for the beads -but I solved that with a block and club hammer! It is a physical process to use but quite satisfying to achieve good results
